Ryan Nitzen | June 10, 2026

Travis Pastrana is set to ride at this weekend’s UFC Freedom 250 which takes place this Sunday at the White House in Washington DC. The former motocross champion, decorated X Games athlete, and AMA Hall of Famer will backflip his motorcycle on the South Lawn of the president’s residence. Pastrana received the invite through a phone call with the UFC’s CEO, Dana White, who is also an investor in the Nitro Circus brand.

“We’re backflipping the White House lawn,” Pastrana said. “South lawn of the freakin White House, motorcycles…this is amazing.”

Update: Pastrana says he’s been green-lit to invite five other riders to attend the jump. His first call was to none other than the GOAT, Ricky Carmichael. Brian Deegan, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, and Keith Sayers have also been added to the list. This morning Jeremy McGrath was added to fill the final spot.

“That is an absolute honor dude, I’m shocked,” Carmichael said. “Let me get working on the bike and we’ll make it happen.”
