The 2026 Honda Transalp middleweight-adventure bike is the fifth Honda model to come with E-Clutch technology.

The Honda XL750 Transalp receives a major update for 2026, now featuring the company’s E-Clutch system. E-Clutch first appeared in 2024 on the CB650R and CBR650R, and then in 2025 on the Rebel 300 and CB750 Hornet. The Honda E-Clutch system allows riders to start, stop and change gears without operating the clutch lever. However, you can still operate the clutch/lever if the rider wishes.

“The adventure category’s popularity continues because riders want motorcycles that can truly do it all,” said Colin Miller, Manager of Experiential Marketing at American Honda. “With the addition of Honda E-Clutch to the Transalp, we’re making that experience even more intuitive and approachable, while the CRF300L Rally remains an incredibly capable platform for riders who want lightweight agility with real-world touring range. Both models reflect our focus on expanding adventure for a broad spectrum of customers.”

The 2026 Transalp also features fully adjustable suspension. The 43mm Showa Separate Function Fork-Cartridge inverted fork and single Showa shock feature new compression/rebound damping adjusters.
The ’26 Transalp also gets a skid plate.

The new Transalp costs $200 more at $10,199 and comes in a choice of white or Deep Pearl Gray. Honda will no longer offer a standard manual Transalp after the 2025 model year. The 2026 Transalp is expected to arrive in July.CN
