Deegan Confirms 250 West Title Defense

Ryan Nitzen | December 4, 2025

Haiden Deegan took to Instagram to confirm his return to the 250SX West division for the upcoming 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross championship. Deegan recently made his 450 debut during the FIM World Supercross Championship in Argentina and then again in Australia. Rumors pointed to him racing a 450 at A1 but that seems unlikely now. Fans will have to wait until round one of the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross to see Deegan go head to head with Jett Lawrence and the rest of the 450MX division.

“That’s a wrap on the Australia tour, and sadly the 4faddy (450) for a little while,” Deegan posted for his 1.9 million followers. “Time to get back on the 2faddy (250) and get ready for SX. Plan never changed. See you out West”

Deegan made his 450 debut at the Argentina round of WSX and again in Australia and was rumored to be racing A1 as well. He shut those rumors down.

Deegan won his first 250SX West Supercross Championship earlier this year before taking another 250MX crown in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship. Racing the 250SX West series gives him more time to prepare the 450 for Pro Motocross due to the Western region starting sooner and having a larger break leading up to the summer series.
