Atlanta, GA (November 4, 2025) – Pirelli-supported riders delivered a scorching performance at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway over the weekend, demonstrating the proven performance and versatility of Pirelli Diablo Superbike slicks in one of the most competitive club racing environments in the U.S.

MotoAmerica rider Corey Alexander, switched to Pirelli tires for his first outing in the Chuckwalla Valley Motorcycle Association (CVMA) championship, and the results spoke for themselves. Riding his 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 equipped with Pirelli Diablo Superbike slicks (125/70R17 SC1 front, 200/65R17 SC0 and SCX rears), Alexander quickly adapted to the new tires and delivered a commanding performance throughout the weekend.

On Saturday, Alexander finished second in Formula Open and won Formula Superbike. He carried that momentum into Sunday, dominating both Formula Open and The Shootout, CVMA’s premiere class. He also set the fastest lap of the weekend at 1:43.528, just four-tenths of a second off the all-time record, which is also held by a Pirelli rider.

“I’m excited to join the Pirelli family and begin this new chapter together,” said Alexander. “I can already tell the Pirelli Superbike slicks and Supercorsa DOT range deliver the grip, consistency, and durability I need to perform at my best — both while racing and during training days with students. I’m looking forward to building a long-term partnership with Pirelli and working closely with the CT Racing team across all aspects of my riding program.”

Alexander’s success marks an important step for Pirelli’s presence in the CVMA paddock, where several top MotoAmerica riders compete during the off-season.

Adding to the weekend’s achievements, Brenden Ketelsen dominated the Supersport category aboard his 2024 Kawasaki ZX-6R on Pirelli Diablo Superbike slicks (125/70R17 SC1 front, 190/60R17 SCX rear), resetting the lap record twice over the weekend.

On Saturday, Ketelsen claimed victory in Formula Middleweight with a 1:44.674, setting a new Supersport lap record. He followed up on Sunday by winning Formula Middleweight again, this time lowering his own record to 1:44.377. He capped off the weekend with another win in the Middleweight Shootout, recording a 1:44.805.

“We’re thrilled with how the weekend went for Corey and Brenden,” said Oscar Solis, Senior Racing Manager. “Corey’s first outing on Pirelli tires was a tremendous success, and with Brenden’s record-breaking pace, it truly demonstrates the confidence and performance our riders can expect from the Diablo Superbike range. We are excited to continue building on this momentum in the CVMA series.”

From record-breaking laps to new conversions, Pirelli continues to demonstrate its dominance across all racing categories by delivering consistent performance, confidence, and unrivaled results in both national championships and on local circuits.
