Carson Mumford has found a new home for the full 2026 SuperMotocross Championship, as he joins the AEO Powersports KTM Racing team. Mumford, a California native, will make his debut with the California-based team come round one of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series at Anaheim 1 in January 2026.
“I am very excited to be working with the AEO Powersports KTM team for 2026,” said Mumford. “I really think the change to the Austrian brand is going to elevate and take my career to the next step. Along with coming back to my roots, being back with a team based in California is going to be a huge positive.”
Team owner Jeremy Scism said, “This team operates very closely and much like a family, so we are excited to have him in the mix next year. Carson has already proven himself in Supercross and outdoors with previous teams, and we’re excited to see what he can do on an Austrian brand bike in 2026. I think the bike will suit Carson’s riding style.” CN
