It’s official – Justin Barcia’s time at the GasGas Factory Racing team has come to a close after five seasons. Barcia initially joined the team in 2021 and helped the brand earn their first 450SX Main Event win and first 450MX moto victory. Bam Bam actually won his first Supercross main event with the team back in 2021 at the season opener in Houston, Texas for his third consecutive win at the opening round.

Justin Barcia’s time with the GasGas Factory Racing team has come to an end.

Barcia has been the GasGas team’s only 450 rider since the brand entered the scene in 2021. Throughout their time together, Barcia and GasGas have racked up a number of podiums and top five finishes. Most recently he claimed 10th in the 2025 SuperMotocross World Championship season.

It is strongly rumored that Barcia will transition to the new Troy Lee Designs Ducati Team for the 2026 season. At the same time it looks likely that the GasGas brand will no longer field a team in SuperMotocross due to the financial restructuring of their parent company, KTM. We believe the current GasGas riders, Casey Cochran and Ryder Difrancesco will be under the Factory Husqvarna tent for the upcoming season.
