This is a press release from IOMTT Races…

Isle of Man (May 20, 2025) – From first qualifying to the final lap of the Milwaukee Senior TT, this is the team taking you inside the sport’s most demanding event.

No race demands more from the riders, the machines, or indeed the people telling the story, than the Isle of Man TT Races.

The TT is unlike anything else in motorsport. It’s fast, raw, and unforgiving. It’s also layered with history, tradition, and thousands of unseen moments. And for TT 2025, we’ve brought together a team that understands that better than anyone.

From first qualifying to the final lap of the Milwaukee Senior TT, this is the team taking you inside the sport’s most demanding event. Whether you’re watching on TT+, listening via Radio TT, or catching up with our daily content, these are the voices, faces, and minds guiding you through it.

Steve Day returns to the commentary box as Lead Commentator – a voice now synonymous with the TT. He calls every lap with precision, pacing, and a real sense of the stakes involved. Alongside him is former racer Jamie Whitham, a man that knows exactly what it means to push to the edge, and how to break that down for fans at home.

Down in Pit Lane is 2019 TT winner Lee Johnston. His personality, paddock presence, and deep understanding of what it takes to race here makes him the perfect link between the riders and the audience. He’s joined through qualifying by former Senior TT champion Steve Plater, a former winner who knows exactly what it takes to conquer the Mountain Course.

And for Sidecar fans, there’s no better duo than Tom Birchall and Patrick Farrance. Two competitors with years of experience between the hedges and a unique perspective on one of the most technical disciplines in the sport.

IN THE STUDIO – INSIGHT, ANALYSIS AND STANDOUT STORIES

The TT isn’t just about what happens on the road. It’s about the people, the mindset, the preparation, and the split-second decisions that make the difference.

Returning as studio anchor is Matt Roberts, a trusted voice with a deep love for road racing and a talent for pulling the big picture into focus. Alongside him is former double TT winner Cameron Donald, whose insight and strategic understanding bring fresh depth to every race breakdown.

Grace Webb is back as Presenter and Reporter, capturing the human side of the TT with interviews, features and stories from behind the scenes, from pre-race preparations to post race reactions.
