Ducati used Thanksgiving Day to unveil the latest Streetfighter V4 S. With sharper electronics, refined aerodynamics, a revised chassis, and increased power, the Streetfighter V4 S is now angled more closely than ever to the Panigale V4 S superbike we tested back in September.
At its heart is the 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine lifted straight from the Panigale, delivering a very stout 205 hp at 12,500rpm and 88 lb-ft of torque at 11,500rpm. There have been subtle intake tweaks to smooth out the power delivery across the rev range, though it sacrifices two horsepower at the top end.
For those craving even more, the optional Akrapovic racing exhaust boosts output to an eye-opening 226 hp. The Streetfighter’s engine incorporates the same updates as the Panigale V4, featuring higher valve lift, an alternator and oil pump from the Panigale V4 R, and the gear drum from the Superleggera V4.
The chassis borrows heavily from the Panigale, featuring the same front frame and double-sided swingarm that reduce weight by 2.2 lb while giving increased flexibility. Like the Panigale, these chassis updates allow for a 37 percent reduction in lateral stiffness up front and 42 percent reduction at the rear, improving traction and rider feedback.
Steering geometry has also been tweaked (+0.5° rake, +1mm trail). The base model runs fully adjustable Showa Big Piston forks and a Sachs monoshock, while the Streetfighter V4 S gets the Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 NIX/TTX electronic suspension. Despite its lack of all-enveloping fairings, the Streetfighter V4 S retains the Panigale’s bi-plane winglets generating 37 lb of downforce at 168 mph.
The Ducati’s electronics suite includes four ride modes (Race, Sport, Road, Wet), cornering ABS, traction control, slide control, wheelie control, launch control, and a Ducati quickshifter. The electronics include the predictive Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) system and a five-level Race eCBS combined braking system ensure precise handling and braking. The Panigale’s 6.9-inch TFT dash has also been fitted to the Streetfighter.
Ergonomic upgrades include repositioned handlebars and footpegs for better ergonomics, and internal heat deflectors to channel hot air away from the rider.
The 2025 Streetfighter V4 base model is priced at $23,395 and the V4 S will cost $29,295 MSRP.
