The following is a statement from MotoAmerica…
MotoAmerica is saddened to report that TOBC team principal Michelle Lindsay lost her courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on September 18 at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia.
Lindsay was 45 years old.
In the world of motorcycle racing, Lindsay was best known as the owner of TOBC Racing where she led the team to three victories in the prestigious Daytona 200 with Danny Eslick (2015, 2017 and 2018).
In 2019, just three weeks after marrying her husband, Myles Wilson, Lindsay was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. From that moment on, she was more than just a team owner, she was a fighter, and she battled cancer with the same resolve with which she ran TOBC Racing.
This past March, she was back at Daytona International Speedway not to race, but to visit her friends and show off the couple’s new son, Holden Dean Wilson. She was smiling and happy. In her element.
All of us at MotoAmerica send our condolences to Michelle’s family and friends. She will be missed.
