New 2025 Can-Am Origin & Pulse E-Motorcycles Prices and Specs

The Canadian manufacturer Can-Am unveiled its all-new electric motorcycles, the Can-Am Pulse and Can-Am Origin. The Pulse, says Can-Am, is a “nimble, naked motorcycle designed for smart commuters and urban explorers.” The Origin is a “dual sport motorcycle designed to take you through dirt, over asphalt and beyond,” says Can-Am. Both models are offered in standard and premium packages.

The Origin is said to have a 90-mile range in the city and 71 miles combined and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds. The Pulse has a range of 100 city miles and 80 combined. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds.

Both motors are rated at 47 horsepower (35 kW).

The standard Pulse has an MSRP of $13,999, and the premium model, the Pulse ’73, is $15,999. The standard Origin model has an MSRP of $14,499, and the premium Origin ’73 model is $16,499. The “’73” is a tribute to Can-Am motorcycles built in 1973, a historic time for the company, and comes with several upgrades.

The Can-Ams features a liquid-cooled battery and onboard charger for “quick and efficient charging in almost any condition.” Using a Level 2 charging station, they can charge from 20% to 80% in 50 minutes.

The Pulse offers four different drive modes (Normal, ECO, Rain and Sport+), while the Origin offers six ride modes, including two dedicated Off-Road modes. Both bikes are fitted with KYB suspension. The Origin has more wheel travel and its rear shock is fully adjustable; the Pulse’s rear shock is pre-load adjustable only. The Origin has 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels with spoked rims. The Pulse has 17-inch wheels with cast wheels. The Pulse has a 30.86-inch seat height, and the Origin 34 inches. The Pulse weighs 390 pounds and the Origin 412 pounds.CN
