Remember Billy Laninovich? We recently caught wind that the former San Francisco Supercross winner would be mounting a comeback to professional racing at 40 years old. “Lano” is set to return with Team Faith and will undoubtedly be the oldest racer on the gate come A1. We caught up with him and teammate Robert Hailey at their 2024 team introduction. Fun fact, Team Faith has the oldest and tallest racers in the paddock!

Photos: Ryan NitzenLano’s last race was back in 2012.The former San Francisco winner is excited to be back at the track.Teammate Robert Hailey is the tallest rider in the pits at 6’7″.Hailey makes the YZ250F look like an 85. Surprisingly a tall seat and low pegs are his only cockpit mods.He says being tall helps him in the whoops.
