Monster Energy Kawasaki Announces 2024 Riders

Ryan Nitzen | October 2, 2023

The month of October marks the unofficial start of silly season as contracts usually begin on the first day of the month. The first to break the news of their 2024 roster is the Monster Energy Kawasaki (450) and Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki (250) teams.

Jason Anderson and Adam Cianciarulo are back with the Monster Energy Kawasaki team for 2024 as both riders will pilot an all-new KX450 in the full SuperMotocross World Championship Series. The two have already begun testing the new bike and spent the week after the LA SMX round fine-tuning their new-gen machine.

The big news comes from the 250 side of things, as Max Vohland and Levi Kitchen join the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki squad. Kitchen leaves the Star Racing Yamaha team which brought him into the pro ranks after a standout ride at Loretta’s a few years back. He’s fresh off a moto win at the LA SMX and is supposed to be on a two-year deal with the PC Kawi team. “I am super excited for my future with Monster Energy®/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki,” Kitchen said. ” I am ready to have a fresh start on a new team and put the KX™250 on top.”

Vohland is another new addition to the Kawasaki crew. He’s practically only ever ridden KTM’s and is making the switch from Red Bull to Monster. Ironically, Max’s dad Tallon rode under the Mitch Payton canopy back in 2000 and 2001. “I am beyond thrilled to get on a new bike, especially with Monster Energy®/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki,” said Vohland. “The power behind these machines are incredible and I am looking forward to my future with the team.”

Max Vohland leaves the Red Bull KTM squad.

Kitchen and Vohland join current team riders Austin Forkner, Cameron Mcadoo, and Seth Hammaker. Both Ryder Difrancesco and Jett Reynolds depart the team after being longtime Team Green riders.
