Made of 8mm-thick HDPE plastic, this skid plate from AXP Racing fits 2021-22 KTM 1290 Super Adventure R/S models and protects the engine block and other important parts on the lower part of the bike.
In comparison to an alloy skid plate, it is 30- to 40-percent lighter and resonates less noise from the engine and rock impacts. It comes in a choice of black or color-matched KTM orange, and it is compatible with the bike’s OEM centerstand and crashbars. MSRP is listed at $336.
