Benny Bloss of the Team Tedder/Monster Energy/Lucas Oil/KTM Racing Team won’t be lining up for the opening round of the 2022 Monster Energy Supercross Series after suffering an ankle injury while training.

Josh Hill will fill in for the injured Benny Bloss (left) on the Team Tedder/Monster Energy/Lucas Oil/KTM Racing Team in Supercross. Kaeden Amerine (right) will compete in the 250SX class for the team.

“Not the post I want to be making but unfortunately I had a crash on Tuesday and am going to miss the start of the Supercross season,” he said on Instagram, December 28. “Thankfully, I was able to get my ankle fixed yesterday and I’m on the road to recovery. Not sure exactly how long I’ll be out, but I’m doing everything I can to be back as soon as possible!”
The team announced that veteran racer Josh Hill will take his place until Bloss is fit again. CN
