KLIM Baja S4 and Enduro S4 ADV Gear
Cycle News Staff | January 14, 2020
KLIM released its new Baja S4 mesh adventure gear and Enduro S4 waterproof overshells.
The new Baja S4 jacket, pants and gloves are built to provide massive cooling airflow with road-ready protection features – all while offering the mobility and low bulk needed for off-road riding with adventure bikes.
KLIM Baja S4 Jacket, Pants and Gloves
KLIM built the Baja S4 gear with Schoeller®-Dynatec® nylon mesh and Karbonite™ Micromesh 1000-denier stretch-woven nylon panels for maximium airflow. The jacket pockets are positioned in a way that they impede airflow as little as possible, and the jacket ($549.99) includes a two-liter Hydrapak-compatible pocket in the back. The Baja S4 pants ($449.99) have perforated goat leather on the inside of the knees, and got over top of road boots. Superfabric is used in the Baja S4 gear key abrasion areas of elbows, shoulders and knees for additional abrasion protection, and D3O Level 1 vented pads in the elbows, shoulders, knees, hips and back provide proven flexible impact protection. The Baja S4 Gloves ($89.99) are also extensively ventilated with perforated leather and direct-vent TPU armor designs.
KLIM Enduro S4 Jacket and Pants
The waterproof, four-way stretch Enduro S4 jacket and pant are waterproof over-shells to wear over the Baja S4 gear. The Enduro S4 jacket includes armpit vents and a horizontal back vent if you work up a sweat in foul weather. The Enduro S4 ($299.99) can be rolled up into its hood for use as a camp pillow. The Enduro S4 pants($279.99) can be rolled up with integrated storage loops, and have full-zip legs for easy on and off.
