2020 Beta Xtrainer 300 First Look
Cycle News Staff | October 12, 2019
Beta’s Xtrainer 300 “play bike” is celebrating its sixth birthday with a fairly significant update, most notably a two-stroke motor that is now counter-balanced, which should reduce engine vibration significantly. The crankshaft is also new to match the new counter-balancer shaft. The new crank has a revised flywheel, which Beta claims smooth out power and also helps snuff out engine vibes.
Clutch plates are redesigned for smoother shifting, and there is a new map switch on the handlebar with an LED light.
Other changes include new front fender and headlight mask, redesigned radiator shrouds, longer swingarm, updated final-drive gearing, new chain guide, new handlebar protector, new meter, and updated internal suspension settings. And, of course, there are the new graphics and colors.
MSRP is $7699 and is expected to be available in early November.CN
