Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) fired back at Maverick Vinales (Movistar Yamaha) to take the top spot in FP2 at Circuit of The Americas.
Marquez topped the session with a stellar 2:04.061s, improving his Friday FP1 time by over 1.5 seconds. Second went to impressive rookie, Johann Zarco (Tech3 Yamaha) with a 2:04.347, with Vinales knocked down to third on a 2:04.451.
Fourth went to Vinales’ teammate Valentino Rossi (2:04.806) with fifth going to Repsol Honda’s Dani Pedrosa (2:04.811).
