Cycle News Staff | August 29, 2016

KR4 Husqvarna-backed Thad DuVall scored the overall win at the Grassman National Enduro in Chadlersville, Ohio, August 28. The event was round seven of the Kenda AMA National Enduro Series.

DuVall came from behind to take the win. He trailed Russell Bobbitt by a few seconds heading into the final two tests, and the longest tests, of the day. The Husky rider smoked them both and ended up taking the win by 40 seconds over the FMF KTM Team rider, Bobbitt. This is DuVall’s first ever win in the championship.

Despite finishing second, Bobbitt padded his points lead in the championship. His nearest rivals in the race for the title – Steward and Grant Baylor – had troubles on the day, with Steward taking sixth and Grant eighth.

Third overall went to Husqvarna’s Josh Strang who didn’t leave the event empty handed, as he came away with one test win.

KTM riders Jesse Groemm and Cory Buttrick round out the top five overall.
