TOOELE, UTAH, JUNE 27—JD Beach put on a masterclass performance at Miller Motorsports Park, leading the MotoAmerica Supersport race from start to finish to take home his sixth race win of the season for the Yamalube/Y.E.S./Graves/Yamaha squad.

Garrett Gerloff was right with Beach from the start, but was unable to keep the pace and settled for second, 5.964 seconds adrift of his teammate across the line.

The battle for third was fought between Latus Motors Racing Triumph’s Bobby Fong and Wheels In Motion/Motorsport.com/Meen Yamaha’s Josh Herrin, with Herrin coming out on top after Fong suffered a technical issue with six laps remaining in the race. After being frustrated all weekend for being off pace, Herrin started to find his groove again and closed the gap on Gerloff. It was still too little too late, and Herrin crossed the line third, salvaging some valuable championship points—now 19 points behind Beach—after his poor start.

M4 Suzuki/SportbikeTrackGear.com’s David Anthony bested the young South African—Cameron Petersen—on the RoadRace Factory Yamaha to take fourth. In sixth was Petersen’s teammate Tomas Puerta ahead of Veloce Racing MV Agusta’s Hayden Gillim.

H35 Racing Honda’s Benny Solis Jr. was eighth. Rounding out the top 10 was Kyle Wyman on the Kyle Wyman Racing Yamaha and Tuned Racing Yamaha’s Corey Alexander.
