This is a press release from 10 Training…
Ocala, FL (June 11, 2015) – 10 Training – run by former AMA Sports Athlete of the Year, AMA Horizon Award & Fast Brain Award winner and current National #10 in the AMA Pro Flat Track Championship Johnny Lewis – is excited to return to this year’s 2015 AMA Dirt Track Grand Championships held July 6-10th in Du Quoin, IL. This year, 10 Training is bringing over $6000 in contingency credits available to DTGC (Dirt Track Grand Championship) riders. Every racer at this year’s DTGC will be given the opportunity to earn 10 Training “10 CASH,” which are contingency credits that can be used at any upcoming 10 Training programs. This includes group, one-on-one and online training programs.
10 Training began this past February in Ocala, Florida with Johnny Lewis – a former Factory KTM AMA Pro Supermoto racer, Factory Triumph AMA Pro Flat Tracker and now currently racing under the Lloyd Brothers Motorsports Ducati program – bringing riders a training program that will fit any rider’s needs and progress them to the next level. 10 Training offers one-on-one training/group training programs, which focus on on-track training, physical movement, nutrition, mental training and social networking/marketing training tips. Lewis will be hosting a sold-out three-day training camp June 17-19 in Alton, IL at the newly formed riding facility “Ride Organic.” The camp will consist of 11 amateur riders ranging from 9-17 years old and is set to prepare those riders for the long week of racing at this year’s AMA Dirt Track Grand Championships.

With more than $4000 in contingency “10 CASH” available for all riders on the podium at the 2015 AMA Dirt Track Grand Championships, 10 Training is looking forward to returning to the DTGC and personally watching the riders competing for the spots. Each main event held at this year’s DTGC will have $50 in credits on the line to be used toward a future 10 Training program. The breakdown will be a $25 credit for 1st, $15 credit for 2nd, and $10 credit for 3rd. At the end of the week-long DTGC, the credits will be combined and the eligible riders will then receive a card in the mail with their credit total.
To be entered into the contingency program, you will be required to fill out a sign-up form with the name, classes, address and contact number. The rider will then receive four “10 Training” stickers to be placed on the chin on their helmets (MX-style and full-face helmet). The stickers will be required on the rider’s helmet to earn the 10 Training “10 Cash” at the end of each event.
“Being a former AMA Sports Athlete of the Year and winning the AMA Flat Track Horizon award in 2004, I thought it would also be great to add to the contingency program. I am going to present a special award to the winner of the 2015 Horizon Award that could then help him or her make the transition to the AMA Pro Flat Track GNC2 Championship in 2016,” stated Lewis. “I have partnered with Arai Helmet Americas to provide the winner of this year’s DTGC Flat Track Horizon Award with a special package. Valued at over $2000, I’m going to provide a 10 Training 3-day boot camp/winter training program in Ocala, Florida at the Marion County Speedway. Accommodations/meals will be provided to the rider, the rider will only have to cover travel expenses and the transportation of their own race bike. I am also excited to announce that, with the support of Aria Helmet Americas, we will be presenting the 2015 DTGC Flat Track Horizon Award winner with a VX PRO 4 and a Corsair V certificate ( provided by Arai Helmet Americas) for the rider to choose the design of choice following the event. That’s two free Arai helmets paired with a 10 Training boot camp. Definitely not a bad year to be the Horizon Award winner!”
“American dirt-track racing produces some of the best motorcycle racers in the world,” said AMA Track Racing Manager Ken Saillant. “Those riders develop their skills in a robust amateur program that culminates with the AMA Dirt Track Grand Championship. Johnny Lewis is a perfect example of that progression, and his commitment to giving back to his amateur roots exemplifies the tight-knit racing community. With the support of past amateur champions and top pros like Johnny, we’re continuing to strengthen the AMA Dirt Track Grand Championship, and we invite all amateur dirt trackers to come out and compete with the best of the best at this event.”
