Avon Lake, OH (May 8, 2015) – DEI Powersports is proud to announce they have joined Project 156, a cooperative effort by Victory Motorcycles and Roland Sands Design to build a custom bike from the ground up that will compete in this year’s Pikes Peak International Hillclimb. The bike will be a hand- built racing chassis, specially designed for the challenges of the 156-turn mountain course that is the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb. Victory’s own in-house Racing Department will be providing the fire-breathing prototype power plant. DEI Powersports will be providing parts and technical support for the thermal-management side.

“Being a purpose-built race machine, everything is compact. This adds some thermal challenges that DEI can help with,” commented DEI Powersports Brand Manager Brian VanKoevering.

“Support from companies like DEI are invaluable because they offer specialized solutions that fit well for this kind of project,” mentioned RSD Project Manager Cameron Brewer.
