Partridge To Fill In For Hill

Cycle News Staff | January 31, 2013

Kyle Partridge will fill in at RCH Suzuki for the injured Josh Hill at this weekend’s Anaheim III Supercross at Angel Stadium.

Hill, who is still on the mend with a hand injury suffered while practicing at Anaheim I, is schedule to return at the San Diego Supercross, February 9. Until then, Partridge will pit out of the Dodge/Sycuan Casino/RCH Racing/Bel-Ray Team camp aboard Hill’s bike on what will be the number-85 Suzuki at A3.

“When the opportunity presented itself there was no way that I was going to pass it up,” said Partridge.  “To have the chance to run a factory bike is exciting.  I’m really looking forward to the opportunity.  I’m grateful that RCH considered me and look forward to riding the bike on Saturday.

“I’ve been on the bike for three days.  We’re going to do some riding today to work on starts and get more comfortable on the bike.  The biggest difference I notice from riding is that this bike feels so much more solid.  It’s super tight.  The motor package is gnarly.  They’re fast.”
