Laguna On AMA Schedule

The following is from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca…The MotoGP World Championship returns to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in 2010 and the AMA Pro Racing Series will be the support series for the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix. The 2010 race marks the sixth consecutive visit for MotoGP and AMA racing together at the historic Monterey circuit.

The 2010 Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix will host three classes of AMA Pro racing slated to run at the world renowned racetrack on July 23- 25: AMA SuperSport, AMA Daytona SportBike and AMA American Superbike.Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca has a rich history of motorcycle racing starting with Cal Rayborn riding a Harley-Davidson to victory at the first AMA national race held at the track in 1972 to Nicky Hayden (the youngest ever AMA Superbike Champion) on his MotoGP victory lap with the American flag waving in 2005.All general admission tickets, paddock passes, grandstand seats, parking and general camping for the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix are on sale by phone at (800) 327-7322 or on-line at www.mazdaraceway.com.Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca was established in 1957.
