Motorcyclist Ronnie Renner to Set Motorcycle Highest Air Record on Massive Quarterpipe

WHAT:

The latest Red Bull Experiment will take place on the world-famous Santa Monica Pier. Freestyle motocross superstar Ronnie Renner will attempt to establish the Guinness World Record for highest air ever attained on a motorcycle on a quarterpipe. This event marks the third chapter in the Red Bull Experiment series, which features the best athletes from around the globe performing world-first, “experimental” sporting achievements.

The event will be broadcast live on FSN Prime Ticket from 8:00-8:30 p.m. and on EXPN.com beginning at 7:00 p.m.

WHO:

Freestyle motocross superstar Ronnie Renner will attempt to establish the Guinness World Record for highest air on a motorcycle quarterpipe, with risk-taking sky-high jumps onto a massive custom-built galvanized steel landing ramp measuring 64 feet wide and 25 feet tall. Live music and an aerial demo from the Red Bull Helicopter and Red Bull MiG Jet will energize the crowd and Ronnie as he tackles this feat.

Friday, July 11, 2008: The Red Bull Experiment is free to the public 7:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m. Renner’s jumps will occur between 8:00 and 8:30 p.m.
