$50,000 On The Line

Press Release | September 4, 2007

Pro-Motion Motorsports announced today that the rider who wins all three rounds of the AMA/Maxxis National EnduroCross will take home a $50,000 bonus. This marks the first year an incentive has been offered for riders participating in this new, but fast-growing sport.

“As if EnduroCross racing wasn’t exciting enough,” said Eric Peronnard, co-promoter of the event. “The $50,000 bonus award to the one rider who wins all three rounds — Denver, Guthrie and Las Vegas — has taken the series to a new level. This will take a rider with a lot of skills and a little luck, but we are convinced the bonus will add a lot more excitement for everyone involved.”

The company also announced that Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI) has been named the presenting sponsor of this year’s racing series.

“MMI is thrilled to participate as the presenting sponsor of this year’s events. The road to Las Vegas should be full of great racing and plenty of action for fans of all ages,” said Terry Emig, director Motorsports and Event Marketing at Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI). “Taking part in these great family motorsport events allows us to champion the industry and generate awareness about the exciting career opportunities available after professional motorcycle technician training at MMI.”

The 2007 AMA/Maxxis National EnduroCross Series starts out in Denver, CO on September 29 then moves to Guthrie, OK on October 6. The final round will be held inside the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on November 17. Race entries and tickets for all three events are available online at www.endurocross.com.
