While Chris Carr is off setting land speed records at Bonneville, his rivals for the AMA Grand National Championship have been testing at Scioto Downs, in Columbus, Ohio, the site of the final round of the championship on September 23.
All four factory Harley men – Bryan Smith, Rich King, Kenny Coolbeth and Jared Mees – tested at the facility yesterday and are scheduled to do so again today.
Coolbeth leads Mees by nine points and Carr by 10 points.
