U.S. World Trophy Team rider Ryan Sipes will miss next week’s ISDE in Spain. Sipes was involved in an unfortunate incident while warming up for yesterday’s (October 2) GNCC XC1 race in St. Clairsville, Ohio. He and another rider collided moments before the race and he reportedly suffered a broken bone in his arm, among other injuries.

His position on the team will be filled by his Coastal Racing/Rockstar/Husqvarna teammate Layne Michael, who won yesterday’s XC2 class at the GNCC.
Sipes was the overall individual winner in last year’s ISDE in Slovakia.
