Leatt released a custom collab with western-inspired apparel brand, Seager Co, for their 450 SMX rider, Justin Hill. Hill is known for spending much of his time away from the track back home on his ranch in Wyoming, where the Western lifestyle and wide-open outdoors are part of his everyday life. His personal sponsorship with the brand bled over into this custom kit which is built on Leatt’s performance-driven 5.5 Racewear platform. Hill is set to debut the gear this weekend at the opening round of the SuperMotocross Playoffs in Columbus, Ohio.

“Racing is where I make my living, but the ranch is where I live,” Hill said. “Seager has always felt like the brand I actually wear when I’m not in moto gear, so putting that look on a Leatt kit just made sense. It’s the first kit I’ve raced that feels like me from the boots up, and I can’t wait to see how everyone reacts to it.”

We wanted a kit that says something about who’s wearing it instead of just another colorway,” says Nick Larsen, Leatt’s Global Head of Marketing. “Justin and Seager gave us that, and 5.5 Racewear is absolutely the platform to make sure this is more than just a logo-T. No question this collab can be raced at the highest level.”

The kit is built on Leatt’s 5.5 Racewear, the lightest race gear the brand has ever produced. The 5.5 platform pairs a lightweight, breathable jersey with a stretch-paneled, race-fit pant designed for freedom of movement and durability at the highest level of competition. Hill also wears the brand’s helmet, goggles, and boots.

Seager Co. was founded in San Juan Capistrano, California and makes Western-inspired apparel and headwear built for life outdoors. Drawing on the grit and ruggedness of the Old West, the brand is known for its vintage artwork, earthy palette and enduring quality.
