Kayden Minear To Make Pro Debut At Denver Supercross

A new face is making their professional racing debut in Denver as Kayden Minear joins the ranks under the Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha tent at round 16 of the SuperMotocross World Championship in the 250SX West division. Minear has become a familiar face as he’s competed in the SMX Next program throughout the 2026 season but now makes the jump to the pro’s to finish off the year.

Minear (99) won the first SMX Next race of the year in Anaheim and is now making his professional debut in Denver,

“After stacking wins in SMX Next, Kayden Minear is making his move,” Yamaha announced. “The Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing rookie will line up for his Supercross pro debut in Denver, bringing proven speed from the development ranks straight to the main stage.⁠”

“Happy to announce I’ll be making my pro debut this weekend in Denver,” Minear said. “Cant wait to go out this weekend with the pros. [I’m] gonna do my best and do what I can.”

Minear will race alongside teammates Deegan and Anstie.

Minear is joining Haiden Deegan and Max Anstie on the 250SX gate and is essentially taking Michael Mosimans’s spot while he continues to recover from an arm injury. Minear’s best finish of the SMX Next season came with a win at the first race of the season at Anaheim 2.
