AmPro Yamaha’s Liam Draper made it two wins in a row to start the 2026 American National Enduro Championship in Oklahoma City on March 22. Draper topped a stacked field at the Beta Cross Timbers National, opening up a small championship lead to start the season.

The race featured six tests, with the New Zealander, Draper, winning half of them.
Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Red Bear Racing Kawasaki’s Steward Baylor Jr won the first test and concluded his day with a victory in the final test. However, this was not enough to surpass Draper for the overall win, as he finished only 18 seconds behind the Yamaha rider.
The only other rider to win a test on the day was Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Red Bear Racing Kawasaki’s Grant Baylor. The three-time champ was among the top three all day until a bobble in the final test landed him in sixth place. However, his consistent riding was enough to put him on the podium alongside Draper and his brother, Steward.
It was close among the top three, as approximately 45 seconds separated first from third.
Another few seconds back in fourth overall was the Pro2 winner Nick DeFeo, making it three Kawasakis in the top four. The Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Red Bear Racing Kawasaki Team rider, DeFeo, was dominant in the class, winning all six tests.

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Craig DeLong was fifth overall, fourth in the Pro1 class.
Evan Smith, Ryder Lafferty, Jason Tino, Ben Kelley and James Jenkins completed the top 10 overall.
FMF Red Bull KTM’s Kelley said he struggled with the terrain. “The trails and terrain were definitely different from the East Coast riding that I’m used to,” Kelley said. “I rode smoothly and pushed as best I could, but I just didn’t have the speed or get the result that I was hoping for or had been working for.”
Tino, eighth overall, was second in Pro2 with Jenkins (10th overall) taking third in class.
“It was a long day in the heat and the dust,” Tino said of the conditions.

In the Pro Women’s division, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Korie Steede won all but one test to take the class in with room to spare over Factory Rieju’s Rachel Gutish, with Triumph’s Shelby Turner taking third.
“What a great day we had here at the second round,” said Steede. “It started with the first test win, and then from there I was focused on staying smooth and consistent, because the conditions here were super-treacherous. It was hard-packed, blue groove, and hard to come to a stop at times.” CN
