Helmet House, the exclusive U.S. distributor of Shoei helmets, announces the launch of the M.S. Twenty Seven Limited Edition colorway, a signature graphic inspired by Malcolm Stewart’s iconic number 27, on Shoei’s premium VFX-EVO platform.
The limited-edition graphic (P/N MS-27 TC-5) was developed through a collaborative process with Malcolm Stewart, the artist and the Shoei team. The VFX-EVO helmet’s shell has Shoei’s Multi-Ply Matrix AIM+ shell that is equipped with Shoei’s proprietary Motion Energy Distribution System (M.E.D.S.) technology, which reduces harmful rotational acceleration to the head.
The aerodynamics and vent system were optimized using a wind tunnel, and there are 16 intake and exhaust vents. The large eyeport can accommodate oversized goggles, and the helmet weights approximately 3.3 pounds (size medium). The replaceable mouthpiece has a removable mesh screen for washing, and the inner comfort liner is also removable.
The fit of the VFX-EVO helmet is customizable from Shoei-certified PFS (Personal Fitting System) at select Shoei dealers. Certified technicians will customize the helmet’s interior using measurements of head length, width, height and circumference to add or adjust padding on the center pad for a bespoke, secure fit.
The VFX-EVO Malcolm Stewart M.S. Twenty Seven Limited Edition is available in MS-27 TC-5 in sizes XS to XXL, with an MSRP of $799.99.
