JR Schnabel and Chris Carr Shared also on the Box in Lake Odessa, Michigan
In this week’s Throwback we dial back the clock 19 years to 2006 and visit I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Michigan, in July of that year. On the podium for the Ford Quality Checked Grand National Twins Championship were winner Kenny Coolbeth Jr., (center) along with runner up JR Schnabel (left) and third-place finisher Chris Carr (right). It marked the first win of the season for Coolbeth. He would go on to win two more nationals that season to claim the 2006 AMA Grand National Championship.
