American Dan Rossomondo has resigned from his role at Dorna Sports, the company that manages the commercial rights to MotoGP. The move marks a significant shift within the organization as Rossomondo departs amid growing speculation about renewed leadership direction ahead of the upcoming season.

During his tenure, Rossomondo oversaw global marketing, media, and commercial operations, helping to shape MotoGP’s international expansion before it was purchased by Liberty Media.
“I would like to thank Carmelo [Ezpeleta] and the team for all their support over the last three years,” Rossomondo said. “I loved learning about this amazing sport and have become a genuine fan. Going forward, I will be cheering for its continued success from the U.S. as I return home to spend more time with my family.” CN
