Pittsburgh International Race Complex—located a little over 40 miles from Pittsburgh in Wampum, Pennsylvania—has been sold.

According to a post on the track’s social media pages, Pitt Race’s current owners, Jim and Kathy Stout, are “stepping away from ownership” of the facility. The track, originally opened in 2002 as BeaveRun Motorsports Park, was purchased and renamed by the Stouts in 2011. The facility will continue to operate for its remaining 2025 dates.
Here is the statement issued by the Stouts from October 1, 2025:
The Final Season of Pitt Race
A message from Jim and Kathy Stout –
When the checkered flag is thrown, the green flag is waved for the next race. Pitt Race has been our passion. We strived to make Pitt Race a premier motorsports destination. With much thought, Jim and I decided to step away from ownership of the facility. We thank our loyal customers, our dedicated vendors and sponsors, the unwavering supporters, and mostly our dedicated and passionate employees. It’s been a fun journey and ride.
