Tommy Bridewell will join the Honda HRC Team alongside Xavi Vierge for Round 10 of the WorldSBK Championship at MotorLand Aragon, Spain (September 26-28).
The British rider steps in for Iker Lecuona, who is progressing well in his recovery following surgery to his left forearm and is working hard with gym training and physiotherapy with the aim of returning to racing soon.
Bridewell, Honda HRC WorldSBK test rider and regular Honda Racing UK competitor in the British Superbike Championship, also raced as a wildcard at his home round at Donington this season and more recently shared the garage with factory rider Xavi Vierge during this week’s Jerez test aboard the CBR1000RR-R.
