Hunter Lawrence did all he could do in the second and final 450 moto of the night. A perfect start put the number-96 into the lead on lap one while Jett Lawrence started back in fifth. With Hunter in the lead and Jett a few spots back, the championship was within reach for the older Lawrence brother.

Hunter fired back with a win in race two. He’d take second overall.

Eli Tomac quickly made his Yamaha teammate Cooper Webb for second and continued to hound Hunter Lawrence at the front. Lawrence never budged and held the top spot with a tight grip.

Jett Lawrence made his way to third for a while it looked like he’d stay there, putting the title in Hunter’s hands. However, with two laps to go, the number-one caught the number-three of Tomac and make the decisive pass for second place. With Jett second, he’d steal the overall win and the series championship.

As the race wore in Deegan found himself knocking in the door of Difrancesco in third. Deegan drastically reduced his pace once in the lead, allowing Jo Shimoda to make his way to the front. Even with the win in hand the defending champ still needed space between he and Shimoda for a chance at the title. Deegan proceeded to brake check Shimoda and run him high in multiple turns before letting the Honda rider take over the top spot.
