Zingg Family Launches AZ39 Forever

Ryan Nitzen | July 7, 2025

After the tragic loss of Team Green amateur rider Aidan Zingg late last month, the Zingg family has launched AZ39forever.com. A new line of merch including hats, shirts, stickers, and more help celebrate the life of Zingg who was only 16 years old. 100% of the profits will be donated to the Zingg Family for expenses during this difficult time.

“Obviously, this is a difficult time, and I really miss my little buddy,” Aidan’s father Bob said. “Aidan and I have been connected at the hip since he was born but the racing brought us together closer than I could have ever imagined. I really can’t wrap my head around life without him. It’s hard to believe how much support there has been from the community over the last week. Watching the media and race over the weekend, I feel like most of the riders did something special for Aidan. As special as we know he was, the impact he made and the support we’ve received feels completely surreal. We’ve received a lot of questions recently about a GoFundMe & ways to offer support; however, we don’t feel that reflects our values as a family, nor does it align with Aidan’s values as an individual. Additionally, the community has done so much for us, and we’d like to be able to offer something in return for their unbelievable support while honoring his legacy.”

The Cycle News team had the privilege of spending time with both Aidan and his father Bob last year during the 2025 Kawasaki KX250 model launch at Washougal MX and can attest to his character both on and off the race track. We do and will continue to miss seeing him at our local events.
