Rieju’s flagship off-roader, the MR 300 two-stroke, sees significant changes for the model year 2026. Two versions will be available: The MR Racing 300i and MR Pro 300i.

Both now feature a Throttle Body Fuel Injection System (TFI) that the Spanish manufacturer says was conceived and manufactured in Spain and offers three riding modes: Race, Forest and Wet.
Other advancements include a diaphragm clutch, which replaces the previous coil-spring system, and now incorporates a counter-rotating balance shaft to squelch engine vibration. It also features an electronic exhaust valve.

Suspension consists of a 48mm KYB AOS fork and a fully adjustable KYB rear shock.
The Pro features a few premiums not found on the Racing model, such as black anodized DLC-treated forks, Renthal Fatbar handlebars, handguards, red machined hubs and upgraded Excel rims with Michelin Enduro Medium tires.
Price has not yet been announced, but the bikes are expected to be in dealers around late June to early July.CN

Here is more from a press release issued by Rieju USA…
At the heart of Rieju, innovation never stops. Our R&D team works tirelessly to redefine the limits of performance. The new Rieju MR 300i MY26 is the result of an obsession for innovation and performance. Developed with the most advanced engineering and put to the test on the world’s most demanding circuits, this machine bursts onto the market as the ultimate Hard Off-Road reference.
Every mile ridden on the MR 300i MY26 is a demonstration of power, control and precision. Its modern mechanics, developed and tuned by our engineers and validated in the demanding SuperEnduro World Championship, make it an indomitable beast capable of challenging any terrain. With this new soul, all challenges are possible for the MR 300i MY26.

The new MR Pro 300i hides the most advanced engine ever seen in its category: a 300cc 2-stroke single-cylinder engine with electronic injection, conceived and manufactured in Spain. This innovative powerplant takes the performance and sophistication of the Pro model to exceptional levels, offering precise and punchy power delivery in any range thanks to the innovative TFI (Throttle body Fuel Injection) System. An advanced mechanism with two specific and differentiated Bosch injectors, capable of offering the user the advantages of any current fuel injected motorbike—moderate consumption, good performance and a significant reduction in CO2 emissions—without sacrificing the immediate engine response and throttle feel so characteristic of carburetor models. A fusion of technology and tradition that will allow 2-stroke fans to relive the sensations and performance of yesteryear, without sacrificing the innovations and efficiency of the most modern engines.

An innovative configuration, with differentiated “Race,” “Forest” and “Wet” riding modes, to suit different terrains and riding styles to make the most of every power curve of the engine and improve its performance at all engine speeds.
But that’s not all. The new MR Pro has taken a giant leap forward in terms of comfort and control thanks to the addition of an innovative Diaphragm Clutch, which replaces the traditional coil spring system of the previous version and provides greater sensitivity in gear changes, achieving much smoother and more precise transitions. This advancement not only improves driving fluidity, but also elevates the driving experience to another dimension.
In addition, the engine incorporates a counter-rotating balance shaft that significantly reduces vibration, providing extra stability and confidence on more technical and complex trails.
The modern package is rounded off by the Electronic Exhaust Valve, which automatically manages its opening according to revs and throttle position to deliver instant and consistent performance at all times.

In terms of the chassis, the MR 300i MY26 retains the essence of its predecessor: a chrome-molybdenum steel central chassis with an aluminum subframe. A solid, strong and lightweight construction that guarantees outstanding durability in extreme conditions.
Likewise, in the suspension section, Rieju reaffirms its commitment to excellence by equipping the front axle with a 48 mm KYB inverted fork with AOS (Air-Oil Separated) system and closed cartridge, guaranteeing extraordinary performance in shock absorption. Finally, at the rear, it incorporates a KYB monoshock that is fully adjustable in preload, rebound and high and low speed differentiated compression, designed to guarantee optimum traction on any surface.

In terms of dimensions, the new MR Pro 300i MY26 is a compact, very agile bike with a spectacular turning radius. At just 102.6 and 103.5 kg dry weight respectively for the Racing and Pro versions(without accessories), this beast can move like a fish in water. It’s pure fun for riders who have the talent—and the guts—to push its engine to the limit. But beware, because it is unforgiving: this bike is pure breed, reactive like few others and created for those who are not afraid to come face to face with the intensity of true Hard Enduro. What’s more, its 9.8 liter fuel tank, combined with the low fuel consumption of its efficient TFI engine, gives you plenty of range to enjoy Enduro without limits.

And finally, the equipment. Right from the Racing version, the MR300i MY26 offers equipment to meet the expectations of riders looking for a real Enduro bike. It includes black anodized Excel aluminum rims with Mitas Terraforce tires, Neken handlebars and grips, crankcase protector, RIEJU Power Racing by Oxa exhaust system, X-Ring chain retainer and lithium battery.

The PRO version, adds to all of the above a host of premium features such as: Fork with Black anodized DLC Antifriction Treatment, Renthal Fatbar handlebars with variable diameter that offers a more flexible steering feel and provides great handling, Renthal grips, Polisport Bullit handguards, X-Trig Rocs aluminum seatpost and Red machined hubs -which, These are not only functional, but also give the bike a distinctive look, a two-tone non-slip seat and Excel wheels fitted with Michelin Enduro Medium tires, which offer the best traction on all terrains, plus the electric fan for those who take riding to the limit.
