Bush spent the first lap in second place chasing early leader Kyle McDonal on the Bromley Motorsports Beta USA machine. After the first lap, just six seconds separated the two frontrunners, but McDonal had an issue on lap two and slipped far down the field. He was 47th heading into lap three.

McDonal’s troubles were Bush’s gain, as the KTM rider took the lead over the new runner-up, Kawasaki-mounted Neil Enman. Bush enjoyed a nearly one-minute cushion over Enman by lap three of the four-lap race. Instead of taking it easy to the finish, Bush picked up the pace on the last lap and took the checkers more than two minutes clear of Enman, who had breathing room of his own over the third-place rider, Robert Weiss (Husqvarna).

After starting in sixth place, Weiss made progress all race long. He finished the day on the podium behind the two AA riders, Bush and Enman, and won the A 250 class. His nearest class rival, Allen Adkins, was approximately seven minutes back in 10th overall. Weiss also finished just a few seconds ahead of the third-overall AA rider Kenneth Held Jr. on the Bromley Suzuki.

The top Amateur was Zachary Garrison (KTM) who was eighth overall.

Cate Nash (Suzuki) won the A Women’s division.
