2024 Trailblazers Motorcycle Club Banquet Recap

Trailblazers Motorcycle Club held its 79th annual banquet at the Carson Center in Carson, California, on April 6.

The night started with the Earl & Lucile Flanders Lifetime Achievement Award, which this year went to Rod Lake, a former dirt track racer who has supported many up-and-coming racers and still supports several current racers.

Five-time MX World Champion Roger DeCoster, who needs no introduction, was the evening’s first Hall of Fame inductee. Other inductees included former Trailblazers President Walt Fulton III, multi-time Motocross Champion Broc Glover, nine-time female National MX Champion Mercedes Gonzalez-Natvig, former Houston TT winner Mike Haney, and tuner/bike builder Pete Pistone.

David Aldana was awarded the Trailblazers MC’s highest honor, the Dick Hammer Award.

This year, David Aldana was the recipient of the Dick Hammer Award, the highest honor in the Trailblazers Hall of Fame.
