Ohioan was part Team USA’s ISDE Runner Up Finish that Year
In this week’s Throwback we dial back the clock 41 years to 1982 and look back at a scene from that year’s International Six Day Enduro (ISDE) in Považská Bystrica, Czechoslovakia. Team USA’s World Trophy Team finished runner up, the best finish to that point for the Americans in the prestigious international competition. This photo shows some of the fascinating routes the ISDE followed in that year’s competition. This is Terry Cunningham, who would go on to win the AMA National Enduro Championship that same season, riding his Husqvarna down a cobblestone path through the middle of a small Czechoslovakian village, while a villager sits in front of his home enjoying the close-up view.
