New 2024.5 KTM 250 & 450 SX-F Factory Edition Specs

It’s that time of year again when KTM rolls out their new Factory Edition models just ahead of the racing season. For 2024 they’ve rolled out new 250 and 450 SX-F Factory Edition bikes with an Offroad Connectivity Unit and an updated frame. As with all Factory Editions, these bikes come off the dealer floor with plenty of aftermarket add-ons.
The new Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO) is two-part system which is mounted between the right fork leg (protected by the new shape of the number plate) and the GPS component on the redesigned front fender. The (CUO) enables a wealth of easily adjustable options for engine behavior and suspension settings via the new KTMConnect App.
Essentially, it opens new customization options and the ability to personalize preferences for the KTM dirtbike without needing external specialized help. An official affiliation with LitPro empowers riders to examine their lines, speed, gearing, and a lot of other information to make their lap times and lines, all through the App’s versatility.
Additional changes come from the new chassis. Varied wall thickness and cutaway sections enhance flexibility while reducing weight. The chassis strategically repositions rotating mass toward the center of gravity, aimed at improving traction with anti-squat behavior. Both bikes feature handling adjustments, such as CNC-milled orange anodized, rubber-damped triple clamps made from high-grade aluminum.
Both the 250 and 450 SX-F models feature the following:
2024 orange ‘factory’ frame
Orange factory frame protectors
Factory tank spoilers
Connectivity unit offroad compatible front fender
Vented airbox cover
Black engine mounts
Updated suspension settings with WP XACT AER fork with sensor top caps
Ribbed factory seat cover
Orange CNC factory triple clamps
Semi-floating front brake disc
Factory front brake disc guard
Factory skid plate
Grey, soft ODI grips
DID factory wheel set
Dunlop Geomax tires
Orange rear sprocket
WP Factory start device
Gold chain
Akrapovic slip-on exhaust
Hinson clutch cover
The 2024.5 Factory Editions will debut at Anaheim 1 in early 2024 before hitting dealerships around mid-february.
