The Klock Werks Flare Windshield was originally developed out of a need for stability at high speeds while racing on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Here’s a look at Klock Werks crew at Bonneville back in 2009:

They are shaped with hips on the outer edges to re-route the air to add downforce to the front of the bike, improving stability vs riding with a stock shield.
Additionally, a “flip” at the top of the Flare windshield kicks the air up and back, reducing turbulence for both the rider and the passenger. A Sport version of the Ice Kolor Flare has a more streamlined shape and a sportier stance.

Screens are available to fit a wide range of Harley-Davidson Road Glides and Touring bikes. MSRP is listed at $249.95 ( $199.95 for the Sport version) and color choices include red, orange, yellow, blue and green.
