Husqvarna revealed its 2022 Husqvarna FC 450 Rockstar Edition, which is all-new from the ground up. It took on all the same changes as its sister brand received in the 2022 KTM SX-F 450 Factory Edition. But the big news here is the addition of the FC 250 Rockstar Edition, which is a new model for Husqvarna.
The FC 250 and FC 450 Rockstar Editions each come with a completely revised chassis, featuring a new hydro-formed chromium molybdenum frame designed for improved energy distribution and anti-squat behavior under power. There is a new die-cast aluminum swingarm and an aluminum-polyamide hybrid subframe, which is designed for specifically calculated rigidity.
Suspension is supplied by WP, including a new Xact 48mm forks with AER technology, and the latest Xact rear shock design that features tool-free adjustment.
Husqvarna says the 250’s motor is all-new designed for maximum torque and peak horsepower. Both 250 and 450 motors feature revised five-speed transmission ratios along with Husqvarna’s new Easy Shift (aka quick shift) design for seamless clutchless upshifts.
Both models will be available in February.
