The Spanish Border Adventure Ride will take place on the old Spanish Border from Saturday October 17 to Tuesday October 20 in Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico.

Get out of the house during this current panic and enjoy riding your ADV motorcycle?
The trees will be almost through changing colors, and nights will be crisp. The stars shall be epic. Unmatched little seen scenery, old adobe Spanish buildings and very few people will be encountered along the route.
The Spanish Border Adventure Ride starts from the old High School in Antonito, Colorado on Saturday morning, on the Southern Colorado border. We would suggest arriving Friday evening Oct 16.

The ride then follows the old Spanish trail off-road towards Santa Fe to overnight camping on the utterly spectacular Rio Grande Gorge. Lunch will be available at the old Chili Line Depot in Tres Piedras, NM.
Camp under the stars Saturday night right next to the Rio Grande gorge Saturday night. We will supply porta potties and dinner & breakfast. Beers Saturday night.
Ride into the Gorge and above Taos, New Mexico on Sunday and spend Sunday night at the historic Sagebrush Hotel & Suites and take a shower in Taos, New Mexico.
On Monday ride up to Southern Colorado. Head over La Veta Pass, down Pass Creek pass to Medano Pass. 10,000 foot+ Medano Pass leads into the back of the Great Sand Dunes National Monument.
Ride down Medano Creek to the sand road behind the Great Sand Dunes and into the National Monument.
An alternate EZ route available to the Great Sand Dunes National Monument and the Great Sand Dunes Hot Springs pool.
Spend Monday night tent camping at the Great Sand Dunes Hot Springs swimming pool.
Olympic size hot springs fed swimming pool, diving boards, beer and wine bar and excellent food.
Tuesday take an interesting ride off road down the San Luis Valley back to the old Antonito High School where your truck has been securely parked.
4 days riding, 4 nights camping or lodging. Under 600 miles. $429.00 includes luggage portage, Breakfast & Dinner each day, GPS tracks, Exit Tours Motorcycle club membership. Ride With GPS club membership, T-Shirt and participation pin. And the camaraderie of Like -Minded Enthusiasts.
We transport your gear, so you may ride unencumbered without saddle bags. You may bring a cot or a bed roll. Tent. Whatever you may need will be portaged.
Your choice of lodging is on you. Tent camp, sleep in the Gym or a classroom Friday night, hotel, motel or shared lodging available in Antonito and Tres Piedras. Lodging at the High School, camping at the Rio Grande Gorge and the Great Sand Dunes Hot Springs Pool is included. Your only Lodging cost would be in Taos, NM where we will stay the Historic Sagebrush Inn & Suites.
In Antonito you will have the option of camping in the old high school gym or one of the classrooms in the gym. Gym shower facilities. Or a Downtown Antonito hotel. Secure truck parking available at the Old High School.
This will be a club ride following the Federal Code of Regulations limited to less than 50 riders.
The Spanish Border ride includes Club membership, Ride with GPS club membership, GPS TRACKS. Meeting and lodging arrangements though lodging is your choice and on you.
