Full Gas Sprint Enduro Update
Press Release | August 28, 2020
The remnants of Hurricane Laura forced the postponement of the August 29-30 Harleywood Kenda Full Gas Sprint Enduro in Bristol, Virginia.
“This was an incredibly hard decision to have to make, but given the weather forecast for winds up to 30 mph and two inches of rain, we feel as though it’s the right decision for everyone involved from the racers to our landowners,” said series promoter Jason Hooper. “Anyone who has been to a Full Gas knows that the amount of ribbon and stakes we use for our cross tests would not hold up with that kind of wind, it’s also incredibly dangerous for people to be in the woods in those conditions as well.”
Luckily, the racers won’t have to wait for long for the race to happen. It’s been rescheduled for the following weekend on Labor Day at the same location. However, it will cut short to just one day. The race will be held on, Monday, September 7.
All pre-entered riders will be automatically transferred to next weekend’s event. Anyone who needs to request a refund from either this originally scheduled Harleywood or the Harlyewood Remix can do so at the following link: https://www.sprintenduro.com/2020/06/2020-refund-or-transfer-request/
Since it will be a one-day event, the Harleywood Remix registration fee will be reduced. Stay tuned for details on registration for that. Partial refunds will be given to all riders pre-entered for the Remix.
