2021 Honda CRF250R First Look
Cycle News Staff | June 9, 2020
The 2021 Honda CRF250R sees little changes for the new model year, as does its off-road cousin, the CRF250RX. The CRF250R saw a complete overhaul in 2018 and has since then seen some significant refinements. Some of the latest ones that came in 2020 included updates to both the frame and subframe, and both front and rear suspensions. It also got lighter footpegs, repositioned battery box, updated brakes, and the lower disc guard was eliminated for better brake cooling and reduced weight. The CRF250R comes unchanged for 2021, as does the CRF250RX, but it got a major overhaul in 2020. The good news is price remains the same at $7999 for the CRF250R. However, the RX’s MSRP increased $100 to $8399. The other good news is that we’re expecting both bikes to be released early but an exact time has not yet been announced.
Other confirmed returning off-road Honda models include the CRF150R ($5199) /CRF150R Big Wheel ($5399), CRF125F ($3199)/CRF125F Big Wheel ($3599) and CRF110F ($2499).
Honda is also bringing back the Monkey miniMOTO ($3999) and Monkey MiniMOTO ABS ($4199).
