Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki Back On Track With Marchbanks Leading The Way
This is a press release from Kawasaki…
Corona, CA (May 28, 2020) – Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki makes its highly anticipated return to racing with Garrett Marchbanks leading the charge for the Eastern Regional 250SX Championship. When racing was put on hold, it was Marchbanks who last saw the top of the podium with a win in Daytona Beach. Teammate Jordon Smith won’t be competing in the final Supercross rounds as he is still recovering from a knee injury sustained at Daytona.
The final seven rounds will take place in Salt Lake City, Utah, with the racing schedule condensed, running a round on Sunday and Wednesday each week starting May 31 until completed on June 21.
Training has been outside the norm as the riders, like all of us, have all been forced to adapt to certain restrictions. That hasn’t kept the riders from working hard to stay in race shape. They eventually got the green light to ride, test and have been putting in the work to be ready for the next several rounds.
“We are excited to go back racing with Garrett. He has been putting in a lot of work since our last race, which he won. It just so happens that these final rounds are in his backyard, being from Coalville, Utah. So we’re ready to get things rolling and earn some great results.” – Zach White, R&D Manager
