In this week’s Throwback we dial back the clock 44 years to the 1975 Daytona Supercross. This shot shows the moment that Trey Jorski washed out his Kawasaki’s front end and takes a relatively easy crash on the soft Daytona sand. Jorski’s first instinct is to look back and see who’s coming. He finds Joe Zappa (No. 334) coming up quick on his Maico. Fortunately, Zappa had plenty of time to adjust and it appears that Jorski doesn’t have too much to worry about. Jimmy Ellis won the race that day on a Can-Am.
