National Hare and Hound (NHHA) announced that it will partner with The Mint 400 for round three of the 2020 season. The Mint 400, nicknamed “The Great American Off-Road Race,” will include Youth motorcycle racing for the first time in the event’s history.
Motorcycle racers will tech on Thursday, March 5, and special provisions will be made for youth racers that want to push down Fremont Street with the adult bikes. Adults will race on Friday, March 6, in front of an estimated crowd of 10,000 spectators, while the youth will race on Saturday, March 7, in front of even larger crowds.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with The Mint 400 in 2020, and to add the flavor of Las Vegas to our 2020 schedule,” said NHHA Chairman, Meg Argubright. “This is an incredible opportunity for not only us, but also our racers and long-time sponsors, like Kenda Tire, SRT and FMF, and support our mission of growing the sport and modernizing one of the purest forms of off-road motorcycle racing. We are working very closely with the Martelli Brothers to ensure the motorcycle racers of the Mint 400 benefit from the same high standard we strive to deliver at all stops of our racing series. In addition to our National class structure, our support extends across all classes of The Mint 400. From Harleys to Team and unique tribute classes, there will be something for everyone. and we are so excited to make this a special event for the two-wheel community.”
